Introducing Faebles for Business

I've spent years working in sales and leadership, and now I'm building a business of my own. So when I started thinking about the next ways Faebles could grow, it probably wasn't surprising that I kept coming back to businesses.

Not just business books. Businesses.

Because books have a place there, too.

They can help us learn something new, become better leaders, rethink the way we work, or see a problem from a different perspective. They can give employees somewhere to unplug for a few minutes. They can create conversation and connection. And sometimes, they can simply make a waiting room, break room, lobby, coffee shop, or community space a little more interesting.

That's where Faebles for Business comes in.

It's a new way for Faebles Tomes and Teas to work with businesses, organizations, and the people inside them—whether that means helping your team find its next great read or bringing the bookstore directly to you.

And in a lot of ways, it feels like a natural extension of what we've been building all along.

The Tomes in Faebles Tomes and Teas have never only been about escape. Books entertain us, absolutely. But they also teach us, challenge us, spark ideas, introduce us to other perspectives, and give us room to grow.

Faebles for Business gives us another way to put those books to work.

Bringing Faebles to Your Business

There isn't one way this has to look.

For some businesses, it might mean a Faebles micro-placement: a small, curated selection of books available directly inside your space.

For others, it could mean book vending, giving employees, customers, residents, students, or visitors easy access to books in places where a traditional bookstore simply isn't practical.

We can bring the Faebles Carriage to businesses for pop-ups, employee events, community events, celebrations, or other occasions where having a mobile bookstore adds something a little different.

And as Faebles for Business grows, so will the ways we can work with businesses and organizations throughout our community.

The goal isn't to squeeze the same bookstore setup into every space.

It's to figure out how books can best serve the people who are already there.

And yes, we're talking business books too.

Professional development is a big part of this for me personally.

Most of my own professional-development reading doesn't happen sitting in a chair with a book in my hands. It happens while I'm driving between appointments, traveling for work, or fitting learning into whatever space I can find in an already-full schedule.

So the reading side of Faebles for Business is being built with that in mind, too. We'll be curating books for business owners, leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to keep learning and growing—whether you prefer to read or listen.

We'll share more about that next, including our curated reading lists and the Faebles for Business Book Club.

Books can do a lot of things.

They can entertain us.

They can teach us.

They can start conversations, create connections, spark ideas, and occasionally change the way we approach what comes next.

Faebles for Business is about finding more places for that to happen.

Whether that's a book in someone's hands during a lunch break, an audiobook playing between appointments, a shelf inside a local business, or the Faebles Carriage parked outside for an employee event, it's still very much at the heart of what Faebles Tomes and Teas was built to do.

Escape into stories. And grow through what you find there.
